Dr. Matthias Klotz studied human medicine and attended Medical School in Ulm (Germany), Sydney (Australia) and Zurich (Switzerland). After graduation he was trained at Hospital For Special Surgery (New York, USA), University Hospital Aachen (Germany), University Hospital Heidelberg and BGU Trauma Center Ludwigshafen (Germany). After residency Dr. Klotz was employed as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the University Hospital of Heidelberg. Today Dr.Klotz is employed as senior consultant at the Department for Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery of the Kepler University Hospital Linz (Austria).
He is an advisor in scientific organisations including joint replacement, foot & ankle surgery as well as deformity correction. Dr. Klotz is the author of over 50 English peer-reviewed scientific articles in international specialist journals and has made numerous presentations at international conferences.
Alongside his employment in the Kepler University Clinic in Linz, Dr. Klotz runs a private practice in Vienna and Linz..
